Self-guided Tour

Our self-guided tour begins at the dawn of military aviation in WWI, loops through WWII, Korea, the Cold War and United Nations Peacekeeping before reaching our Squadron section and ends at Afghanistan and Post 9/11.

Discover

There is plenty to see for all ages and interests. Try out our CF-101 Voodoo ejection seat and hands-on Air Traffic Control centre. Get up close to an Argus Wright 3350, 18 cylinder engine, and then have a seat in our viewing lounge to watch a short movie from our collection. Children and youth will enjoy our activity books as they learn and become engaged in RCAF history.

Highlights

Some other highlights in our main gallery include profiles of local BC heroes, the Colwell Diary display, an exact replica of the tunnels built during the “Great Escape” and the histories of all Squadrons who serve or have served at 19 Wing.
