On Friday, July 17th, our Museum hosted a group of Girl Guides. The group consisted of around a dozen girls and their adult leaders. They were conducting a programme called “Island Roam 2015”, basically a group of BC Girl Guides, ages 12 and 13, who travel and tour Vancouver Island. Jon Ambler, our Program Manager, said that they “were great, really interested, asked good questions, had good answers and were very polite. All in all, great ambassadors for the Guiding Movement.”
They toured the Main Gallery in the Museum and then the Heritage Air Park.
The most exciting part for Jon? That would be receiving the badge and three boxes of Girl Guide cookies that he promises to share with the volunteers!
