On September 14, 2014, 19 Wing held The Battle of Britain Parade in our Heritage Air Park. In the afternoon, across the road at the Base Protestant Chapel the Museum had it’s Annual Heritage Stone Dedication. This occasion was well attended with over 70 people being present. This comprised of members of the families for the 16 stones being dedication, the new Commander of 19 Wing, Col. Tom Dunne and many senior members of the squadrons based at Comox. Afterwards there was a very pleasant and convivial meeting at the Museum where cake and coffee was served. This was a nice time to hear some of the stories of those who were being remembered.
