Heritage Air ParkHeritage Stones Display and Garden
The Heritage Air Park reopens March 13th; come in and check out our heritage aircraft and vehicles.
Open from April to September.
Our Heritage Air Park is home to our collection of aircraft, all of which are models that have flown at 19 Wing Comox. From the Dakota to the CF-100, the Air Park allows you an up-close view of the planes that made the RCAF great.
The Air Park also contains our Heritage Stones, a tribute to those men and women who served.
Our Heritage Air Park is located about 500 m from the museum, on Military Row/Little River Rd, across from the Base Chapel.
Parking is available at the entrance to the Park.
The Heritage Stone Project was commissioned by the Comox Valley Air Force Museum Association to help raise funds for the Museum.
Each Heritage Stone was crafted on Vancouver Island from marble mined near Tahsis and hand-finished by marble masters in Duncan and the Comox Valley.
The Stones were engraved with the individuals name, coloured Roundel and lighting flash similar to those seen on RCAF & CF vintage aircraft. The Stones are displayed in CAFM’s Heritage Air Park.
