It was a cloudy, damp day on Saturday, September 22nd, but the Heritage Team had the Argus ready for visitors.  407 Sqn had requested that the aircraft be opened up as one of their events for their Family Day activities.  As a part of Sqn history, 407 Sqn members and their families were able to walk through and imagine the working conditions prior to the current Aurora aircraft.  Kids and adults alike enjoyed exploring the nooks and crannies, with the “bubble” under the cockpit as a popular experience.  Of course, ordinary visitors to the Air Park were also welcomed to explore the Argus as a surprise bonus that day.  Heritage team volunteers were happy to welcome the 407 Sqn CO and his family as the final group that afternoon.
