We had quite a few young visitors today, which made the museum a lively place. I had a great time showing Trish, Kayla, and Adam the ejection seat. Kayla (not shown) didn’t want to try on our pink pilot’s helmet, but Trish didn’t hesitate! Adam got into the gear and posed in the seat for me. Thanks for coming guys. See you next time!
Comox Air Force Museum
The CAFM commemorates the role and history of 19 Wing (CFB/RCAF/RAF), documenting significant achievements in West Coast Military Aviation History. Founded in 1982 as part of the Air Force Indoctrination School, CAFM was accredited as a stand-alone Canadian Forces Museum and officially opened its doors to the public on 12 September 1987.
